Ryan Newman

This week’s ‘Road Rage Award’ is a leap of desperation on my part. But, for it to be awarded weekly…well I gotta award it weekly.

The Sony HD 500 at California Speedway was pretty tame on road raging incidents. Big, fast track. Not alot of bonehead moves tonight.

We do know that since this is the next-to-last race before the ‘Chase’, tension is high among the bubble drivers. We heard via one of the pit reporters that Ryan Newman just may have been raging in his car. Supposedly, Newman was extremely frustrated (and very vocal about it) with his spotter for not letting him know when he was clear.

So here it is. Hey Ryan, stop being such jerk to your spotter. One more week and the ‘Chase’ will be here. Then you can sleep well and look forward to next year.
